It's nice the DN waited until Christmas Eve to publish this so as not to distract the faithful from their shopping. Once the tree is purchased trimmed with bobbles and packed underneath with needless junk, and the three new guns we'll need for our protection from the government this year, it's nice to sit back with a hot cup of cocoa and comntemplate the birth of jesus.

PS. Have you no shame DN..give it up the election is over..the related article at the bottom is a Charles Krauthammer rant from Feb. 2012 blating the President.

Merry Christmas to the DN Editorial Staff and all the readers and commenters on the editorial page. It's been a fun year. Let's look forward to some rigorous dialogue in the coming year.

    You caught that too!

"The Gospel according to Obama" article tagged at the bottom to this one.

    Tacky-tacky-tacky. DN.

But if you want to bring politics into it ---

    The Gospel records --
    The Romans raised taxes,
Joseph and Mary, the Mother of God...
Did not take up arms, sign protests to secede, or complained about the world coming to an end.

    Quite the contrary....

Conservatives could learn alot reading the scriptures.
