This is interesting because recent surveys have said that the monument
isn't really at the four corners, but is over a mile off. (Like the fact
that the Statue of Liberty is really in New Jersey, not New York.) I
once asked a Native American there that was from Idaho how he was able to sell
on the Navajo Nation since he was from a different tribe and he said "I
married into it." "Sounds like a good way" I responded.
"That's the only way" he replied. Then we both had a good
laugh.Everyone ought to experience Four Corners at least once in
their life time.
