Obama and the Democrats do not care about business, except THEIR business= BIG
GOVERNMENT! As long as they get theirs, they care not about anything else!
Fiduciary responsibility existed 4 years ago when he put up his hand to do
everything possible to make our country great. He has run the government for 4
years on the budget President Bush left him instead of forming his own. He signed the passed bill on Healthcare that spends money into the
millenium instead of budgeting honestly with the American people on the real
issues and costs. He wanted to have his own 13th amendment type of showing with
both Senate and House under his thumb. His Departments and Agencys
Budgets requested by the President and given to Congress to work out the details
were not done for his time. Agencies and Departments spend a lot of time and
energy on producing their wants and needs for Congress and the President. He had the bailouts and how he was going to improve the Union's
positions from that money flowing into the reelection efforts for 2012. He
could do that by bailouts without showing favortism too much as the
manufacturers got their piece also, even without their private jets being
displayed. However, one of the main jobs of the President is to get
Congress to pass a budget and failed.
Instead of tax increases, why not spending decreases? Why should the
American people keep paying for extravagant, and needless spending?
@worfhow about the balanced approach of spending cuts and tax increases
the american people voted for?
if the threat of tax hikes hurt the confidence of the middle class then why
would those same tax hike not do the same for the rich? Answer - they will hurt
EVERYONE. Yes the rich can afford the hike but it may mean they don't built
that new business of they cut back on their current business. Any cut back means
layoffs - layoff for the middle and lower class Americans. Here is a thought -
why not LOWER taxes for everyone???? Wow - what an idea. If tax increases hurts
confidence then tax cuts will do what?? Maybe INCREASE confidence from top to
bottom? Now a tax cut would mean a cut to sacred entitlement programs (such as FAT CAT UNION pensions) and that will NEVER happen. Too bad. America
is on a down hill slide and the slope is increasing and everyone will eventually
feel the pain ... except those that don't work or pay taxes which comprise
the bulk of the Obama-zombies. Dark days ahead for America. Really dark.
Patriot,With record corporate profits over the last two years the
rich have not created jobs at least in this country. The rich are not American
job creators in today's world, they are job exporters. For the majority of
the wealthiest of Americans today it is a world of bottom line and bottom line
only. As long as these folks can take jobs to third world countries where they
can set up sweat shops with no government oversight, no minimum wage, no safety
standards and pay people pennies for what it would cost to hire someone in
America even at minimum wage, jobs will continue to move offshore. The defense
of the poor ultra rich who have seen their bottom line increase significantly in
the last 30 years while everyone else has been lucky to stay up with inflation
is rather humorous. Thirty years of tax policy designed to help the "job
creators" hasn't led to more jobs, but it has created more wealth for
the ultra wealthy.Sorry if I don't feel sorry for them if they
have to pay a couple of extra bucks in taxes.
George, That's progress, and I'll take that.
George, repubs have offered revenue enhancements. BO has refused them
No new taxes. Another lie?American government will demand more
handouts from its people.---Pathetic!
