    And yet, over the last 5 years I blogged in defense of Mitt, many folks out there wailed at the idea that Mitt might try to be sworn in as President on a Book of Mormon. (Which I don't think he was going to do). What a horrible world of double standards.

    @ LDS: It is only a double standard if the same people who lamented the possibility of Mitt taking the oath on a BOM are now celebrating this individual using the Bhagavad Gita.

    If that is what is holy to her, and it will signify the same deep and solemn covenant that a bible does to a christian and a koran does to a muslim, then, I think it's great!
