Hope and change at work. This is so depressing that progress is choked on every
This is good news for those who don't think that strip mining is
attractive. This is the dirtiest of the oil processes and uses a lot of
energy and water to produce. You can't get to the shale without strip
mining.Funny how the conservatives don't want to burden their
children with debt, but they have no problem leaving little or no natural
resources open spaces or beautiful vistas for their children.
And the other shoe falls, Obama is letting loose, you don't think he meant
it when he said he would have more leeway after the election. Your every day
taxes are going up, your grocery bills are going up, your heating bills are
going up. Unemployment is going up. We can call this president the upwardly
The doomsday crowd is out here. Restricting oil shale development will end the
world.Or, how about just proceeding with due caution? That's
all "liberals" are asking.
Half of drilling permits gone, sixteen trillion in debt, eighty percent of our
stimulus gone to other countries, and more fed money to Muslim Brotherhood then
re-building our east coast after the storm.Or, how about just
proceeding with due caution?
what makes you think the same old rhetoric that lost you the election is going

There's a reason why most people have lived in poverty, with few, if any
freedoms.I'll be one of the few, who will at least try to
preserve the intent of this nation.I don't base correctness
with the majority. Champions run alone.
@worfThe intent of our nation does protect your right to free speech even
when that means tolerating your wild conspiracy theories that do nothing to
champion our nations interest but rather only seek to tare people apart for
shallow political gains. There maybe another reason you run alone, just saying.
It's imperative that America ensure it's energy security. That means
providing all of our own energy, and when we cannot, importing our energy from
stable, reliable sources (i.e. Canada) instead of cartels (OPEC). As
long as other alternatives like the Keystone XL pipeline, drilling offshore and
on the north slope of Alaska, etc are being impeded by unreasonable regulatory
and environmentalist-based hurdles, other petroleum sources like oil shale and
oil sands will be pursued.
More to come from the picnic organizer. How's $10 a gallon? To the majority
of voters, this guy is the best and brightest.....sure he is.
