54 IQI thought U got your BYU news from Chris B. She seems to be the
"expert" on everything even remotely connected to BYU.
Finally, the real story is starting to come out and we can put to bed the
fanciful musings of the mudslingers who like to pass judgement without having
even the slightest knowledge of the real story.
If a team member brings dishonor to himself, his school and his team by breaking
the law maybe its time to leave.Too bad that most schools just
accept this behavior, administer a little discipline and let bygones be
bygones.I'm glad for BYU standards.See ya boys and
good luck to you.
That's actually really shocking, and tragic, to me. . . Ute
fans, enough of the model citizen jabs. No player has ever claimed to be
perfect. At least BYU players, on the whole, try to be model citizens and the
BYU administration actually cares whether or not the standards are kept. I am
sure that few people really know what exactly happened. It seems
like the players that get into trouble are the guys that are not quite as
closely involved with the program. Either they are buried on the depth chart or
they struggle in other ways. Joe Sampson is a real surprise just because he was
playing a lot and he's Brian Logan's cousin who was had a really good
experience at BYU. We all know about Zac Stout. He was just biding his time and
I really thought next year was going to finally be his shot to compete for a
starting spot on next year's defense. What a real shame. It sounds like
this is just an unfortunate, isolated incident. I hope it gets resolved for
If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. Such is the
case for the ute fans you hurry and post before they even think. We have seen it
before and we will see it again...humans being human. But thank goodness we have
a university that pushes people to a high er level. High road vs low road and in
the end it shows. I am thankful to have been and continue to be part of it.
The cameras at the restaurant showing the incident are all over the internet.
Lots of haymakers and some grappling on the ground. Cameras don't lie. I
can't believe such behavior occurs at byu. With such high standards, how do
these things happen? These players took Bronco's stripling warriors talk
to heart. Let it rain!
Ya, go watch the video people. A couple great sucker punches, and then he
punches a girl in the fact knocking her down. though not intended it still
happened. What a guy. stay classy byu. is this what we hope for in our young
missionary ambassadors? what a disappointment. I thought these boys stood taller
than the rest of the nation/teams?
