WOW--what a remarkable young lady. I applaud your hard work and your marvelous
attitude. Many people will benefit from your story and the decisions you have
made about your life after the accident. My grandfather jumped a
train and lost his leg when he was about your age. He,like you, saw life in a
different light after the accident, and he went on to become a chef at a private
club in Pittsburgh. He had his car modified and life went on with him behind the
wheel. He, literally, was in the driver's seat and the "what" and
"where" of his life were in his hands.Best wishes to you now
and in your future!
Inspiring. I want to be like Anna.
I remember reading about this tragic accident last year, and feeling so sorry
for Anna. That sympathy has turned to admiration for a young girl with such a
mature attitude and acceptance of her situation. I also appreciated the reminder
to "listen" to feelings we may get.
I'm inspired by this story. So much so that we are helping Anna fund her
dreams on RallyMe. Bill KerigCEO, RallyMe
