For Democrats to complain that the GOP highlighting tensions in the Middle East
is a political move...duh! It involves policy, and Obama's policies are
perceived as failing in every way. Even his strength (international &
foreign relations) is turning upside down with the revelations surrounding the
Benghazi attacks, the mismanagement of security for our ambassador and
diplomats, the return and rise of Al-Qaida in Afghanistan. The
world has become too complex, too difficult for Obama. And we are seeing that
he has been MIA. He failed to meet with his jobs council for 6 months even as
the US struggled under unemployment (we still do! 7.8% is not good). He
failed to meet with Netanyahu, a key ally in the MIddle East at a critical time
regarding Iran, the Arab "Spring", Syria, and a resurgence of al-Qaida.
Obama is asleep at the wheel folks.
Obama:* missing more then half of his staff meetings* over a
hundred games of golf* expensive vacations* wearing out Air Force
One for campaign trips.* appearing on comedy tv showsDoes he
really know what is going on?
David: After "Weapons of mass destruction," no bid contracts, and giving
up on the reason (Osama) we went to afgan. You can actually act like how
they worded the Benghazi attacks is horrible has destroyed foreign policy. It is
laughable how the republican forget so quickly.Worf those have been
answered daily as you post them on any article that mentions Obama. They
are either false as the first one or so petty as the others to not eveb be
addressed, and president Bush has still supplied the nation with the best comedy
TV with out ever doing a comedy?
Happy Valley Heretic,I honestly didn't know there was anyone
out there unaware that President Obama is constantly going off to play golf or
basketball, takes many vacations and is on TV a great deal, far more than any
past president. Amount of time can be disputed but all you have to do is listen
to the news to get that message. It is indefensible. No other
president has spent anywhere close to as much money on lavish parties. If they
were all for foreign dignitaries that would be a sliver of an excuse but
Hollywood is pandered to. Step back and look at the big picture regarding the
president's work ethic. It's a problem.
SammyB: Look up Bush vacations. Your not even close to the truth, try another
We are blessed to have had Founding Fathers that didn't look at the media
ratings to see what was important in life. They could look into their heart and
brains with reason and even though they had disagreements along the line, they
used those sacred documents they made, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of
Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America from those
inner feelings and thoughts and from God who knew the importance of freedom.
They didn't make it to hedge with. They made it as a stable platform that
has had few changes in the past over 200 years. It was based on
integrity of the beliefs that people had that came to this land to have a better
future than be under dictators and kings. They brought with them principles
that have lasted over centuries but also took centuries of dedication to
establish.Having lived in countries under dictator type rule and
martial law, I know people from those types of countries came here for a freedom
from oppression that outweighted people's fears of making that move. People need to review what we are becoming as a nation with Obama.
Happy Valley Heretic,I don't listen to talk radio. I do
research. Bush spent a lot of time on his ranch where he had an office that he
worked in for hours each day. Very different than Obama. Seriously, if you
aren't aware of the lavish parties and down time, you are disconnected in
the extreme.Media loves to cover up reality. There was a headline
about Anne Romney's dress the other day when the first lady's dress
cost a third more. There is no end to proof but one must desire truth and not
Severely moderate/severely conservative Which Romney happens to have numerous
core values depending upon whom his audience happens to be.Even at
that, everything he says ends up being clarified by the romney campaign or the
rnc. What will Which Romney do on foreign policy?Look at
his foreign policy advisors/apologists.Every romney adviser on
foreign policy comes from the same neocons who surrounded President Bush.
Happy Valley Heretic,* What false statements have I made?*
Deaths in Libya, and to men, women, and children-along the Mexican border from
American weapons are not petty. Remember the executive order to stop the
investigation? The George Bush card is growing old.
For a person that lives in one of the best locations, according to some, to
criticize a person who lives on the Mexican border that has concerns for safety
and protection from his government, that is sort of unkind. People that live in
the protection of the mountains is a far cry from living on the border area
where it is far from secure due to current and prior policies. Arizona took a stand and the President and his Secretary of Justice are
pursuing the State of Arizona over that issue to get votes for this election. This President hasn't dealt with the immigration issue properly.
He stood there on the tarmac in Arizona and cut down the Governor for the public
to see. I think of living in the Philippines and the dictator not wanting to
lose and the opponent was literally cut down on the tarmac. What a disaster for
that country. It is a different kind of political world we live in
here in the United States of America but the President showed a kind of
anymosity last night as he debated not shot at Governor Romney. We
need a kinder and gentler society top down.
Utah voters need to be cautious of the lack of foreign policy our President has
led us to in the past 4 years.Last night on the debate he spent so
much of his almost tearful time talking about Israel and how important they are
to us. He even went to their Holocaust memorial to remind him that it even
happened, maybe for him. He didn't go there in 4 years as our
President. He snubbed their leaders at almost all costs to his non-Christian
Jeremiah Wright type attitude. We need a President who knows how to
spell Israel and tell the truth without an underlying tone of talking down to
people as his normal policy. He does have that policy down, talking
down to anyone that isn't President of the United States of America. He
did that in all his debates with Governor Romney. He made his jestures to the
moderators who granted him almost every wish and courtesy. However, Mitt Romney
is scorned by this President. Fortunately, Mitt Romney is able to ride above
those types of waves and can see beyond those types of looks and motives.Hopefully, people will see the light voting.
