That's something the Utah Compact should look into. Otherwise we may lose our illegals to Los Angeles.

intended for article about state immigration commission.

We will end up with a study done by a "think tank"that will represent business interests, and ignore the citizens and laws of the country. Can we get past the games and enforce the laws of our land? 3.5 million per year coming here legally when there are 23 million Americans looking for full time work is a waste of money.

immigrations laws went first, then id laws, social security laws, IRS laws all changed to hide those here illegally from the public. Enforce the laws that are available, such as pulling business licenses, and ask for ID from those who break any laws if they cannot produce papers.

The Texas study 2005-06 showed business made money off from cheap illegal labor, but it cost local government, ending in a 1.4 billion dollar loss. It's not going to be any different here.

You are not being honest with your fellow man. We know that keeping things the same is the object of the commission and all of Utah's immigration laws the past several years.
