Just what obama wanted 4 dollar a gallon gas but hopefully it doesn't get to what his head of energy wants 8 bucks a gallon. Sometimes we get what we voted for. four years ago it was less than TWO dollars a gallon. But then we do use 25 percent of the worlds energy but only have 3 percent of the population according te obama. Just wait and see what your electric bill will cost you. There are enough STUPID people in this country that want another 4 years of obama. So who does care for the middle class. Higher gasoline, higher electric bills, higher cost of food. People its not obama.

Just what a capitalist dreams of...

Go for the throat when you have the consumer over a barrel.

High prices were Bush's fault according to Nancy Pelosi. My how things change. Perhaps people in St. George give things away, but in most places fuel prices and other commodities are market driven unless government subsidized as in Venezuela, Cuba, and others. Not many people are lining up to immigrate to those places.

"The dramatic surge came after a power outage Monday at a Southern California refinery that reduced supply in an already fragile and volatile market, analysts said"

Yes, the laws of supply and demand effect the price. Since the liberals want to limit the supply I have zero sympathy for people who continue to vote them back into office.

Maybe voters will wake up when gas costs $10 a gallon .... and I hope it does.

"Go for the throat when you have the consumer over a barrel."

The oil companies wouldn't have consumers over a barrel if we had more gas than they knew what to do with. Are you suggesting that the laws of supply and demand be suspended by presidential order?
