Of COURSE he's saying that! Because it IS!I can't believe a
thing this guys says...because he'll change it soon enough.Mitt
offers nothing of substance. The rhetoric, lies, and fluff he spewed at the GOP
convention are one thing...All his minions lap it up, and flock to hail their
idol.(Are any of them rich enough to benefit from his plans?)But against an intelligent, informed, logical and truthful President Obama,
that won't work.He will be exposed. He has only one core
belief. and that is that he believes he should be president.Sorry..that
The debate - and the election - are not about winning or losing for Mitt.Hmmmm. That seems strange. What is this campaign, an item on his bucket
President Obama admitted recently that Romney was the better candidate at
debating... I believe the President is correct on that one.
I do NOT understand how anyone can believe anything Romney says. Once again he
shows a deliberate and strong inclination to deviate from the truth. Pants on
fire again Mitt.
Can the Koch brothers get a refund on all the money they've poured into his
Yeah, yeah, yeah.Debates don't matter. Polls don't
matter. The media favors his opponent. The conservative media will
say that Romeny won the debate regardless of what is said and he will accept
that as a positive sign. His people will put up new ads saying "Romney Wins
First Debate!" Also new, "adjusted for bias" polls will show Romeny
with a lead in all the Swing States. And he's not talking about the
conservative media (print, electronic, and surrogate interviews) which are in
his corner. It's a circus and many political operatives
understand this except they won't talk about it because this his how they
make their money. It's all flim-flam, smoke-and-mirrors. Republicans are
masters at this; Democrats need to pay attention because they will learn
something: A negative story appears, the candidate complains but we never know
who made up the story. Was it the opposition? Or was it a carefully-crafted
piece designed by the candidates own strategical team to work up the base and
create sympathy for the candidate for the "unfair" nature of the
story? How I wish I could take a workshop from Karl Rove.
One thing that is for certain and that is that Romney will dodge and duck and
talk over the subject and never give a direct answer or details, and after the
debate voters will still not have any specifics to help make the best choice.
I suspect Mitt will win the debate by any measurable standard. I truly doubt -
however - it will have much impact on the election. I think the fix is in and
more Americans want free stuff ... healthcare, education, etc.... compared to
those who understand how unsustainable and insane this direction is for the
nation. It seems like the majority of Americans just want to ask "what can
the US government give me" and Obama's reply is "plenty". I
also think the majority of Americans want to take money from the wealthy - all
of it if possible - and could care less of the ramifications. The ignorance of
America is at an all time high and Obama is taking full advantage no question.
How long can the Obama 'give-a-way' last? Well as Prime Minister
Thatcher once said "Socialism is great UNTIL you run out of other peoples
money". Greece ran out and so will America very soon. I really think if we
all could look ahead two years and see the coming fiscal implosion in America it
would scare even the most hardened liberal to death.
here's a prediction ...Most will agree Romney won the debate
but the polls show Obama increasing his lead. In other words this election is
over.... and probably was 4 years ago. We are going to get our "historic
leader" for 4 more years because he is "historic" and for no other
reason. What a sad place America finds itself in. 4 more years of Obama will
pretty much doom this country beyond repair which means our kids might as well
adjust "their American dream" drastically downward. 20 trillion in debt
by 2016 will produce a financial tsunami that makes what happened in 2008 look
like a bump in the road.
Patriot, I regretfully wish to inform you that you do not know Americans at
all. You need to get out in the country and see for yourself what a wonderful,
brave and serving nation we have of some of the best people in the world. We
have a lot to be proud of and to be grateful for our beautiful nation and great
citizens and patriots her serve her..
@ patriot We survived 8 years of President Cheney's dream of
privatizing a couple wars for profit. (corporate profit)Outside of

@skeptic -- I'm with you. Conservatives are people who are positive that
everyone but them is worthless pond scum. That's almost the definition of
the word conservative any more. Liberals have confidence in the goodness of
their fellow man. I prefer that mindset to the angry, bitter mindset of the
modern day tea party.
Unless a candidate comes out and steps into the spotlight and stands their like
a deer caught in headlights, the winner of the debates will not be determined
until election day.As another article pointed out George
Stephanopoulos declared Democrat victors in 8 of the last 9 debates. The winner
is subjective to your personal biases (with the exception of total participant
meltdown), and as such, the winner cannot be declared until the votes are in.To "FT" will Soros and Buffett get a refund for all the money
they spent on Obama? To "Wonder" with attitudes like yours,
it is no wonder that the liberals are known as bitter hateful people. You
should open your mind and actually look at conservatives without your media
matters filters on. You would find that the conservatives are kind and want to
lift everybody who wants to be raised. To "Happy Valley
Heretic" those 8 years were much better for the US than the last 4 have
been. Tell us, what has all of the socialization done for us? We have $6
Trillion more debt, high unemployment, and billions of dollars lost on bailouts.

2012To "Happy Valley Heretic" those 8 years were much better
for the US than the last 4 have been. Tell us, what has all of the socialization
done for us? We have $6 Trillion more debt, high unemployment, and billions of
dollars lost on bailouts---------------You forget that it is
because Bush/Cheney tanked the economy and required Obama to take draconian
means to reverses the damaged they caused that we have $6 Trillion more debt,
high unemployment, and billions of dollars lost on bailouts. Put the blame
where it belongs -- on the people who caused the mess, not the person who has
had to fix it.
To "Furry1993" if you want to blame somebody, you can blame the
Democrats who created the Federal Reserve. The only blame Bush/Cheney get is
they didn't fight hard enough to get banking regulations in place to cut
the number of sub-prime mortgages. You should be talking to Barney
Frank and Chris Dodd, they were the ones who lied to congress and said that the
federally backed mortgages were fine, 3 months before everything blew up.Candidate Obama was in Congress, and voted for the initial bailouts and
even consulted with Bush during Bush's final months to get what he wanted
in place.Obama was not required to take out any extra debt for the
US. He chose to do so to fund his social welfare programs that have resulted in
high unemployment. Had Obama done what every other previous President has done
during a recession, the unemployment problems would be gone and the $6 Trillion
in new debt would not exist. Obama should have followed JFK who cut taxes and
cut spending. That has historically lead to a fast recovery. Why
should we re-elect somebody who can't learn from history?
Here's some interesting news regarding Presidnet Obama:In a
short memo released Friday, President Barack Obama announced that he would waive
economic penalties for certain countries employing child soldiers, citing
“the national interest” in doing so. The memo stated that all
sanctions imposed under the Child Soldiers Prevention Act of 2008 would be
waived for Libya, South Sudan, and Yemen, and portion’s of the law’s
requirements would be lifted for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The exact
national interests requiring these waivers was not stated. It is
reported that this is the third year Mr. Obama has waived penalties under this
act.Jesse Eaves, the senior policy adviser for child protection at World
Vision, said the president was trying to maintain good relationships with the
countries to ensure security assistance, but called the move
“bizarre” because of how strongly Obama has come out publicly
against precisely this kind of child exploitation.
@Furry1993TH Economy did not tank until the democrats took control
of congress. (perhaps to use to help win the 2008 presidential elections.)I think you need to re-examine the timeline and who was involved in the
vary aspects. An honest person would find A LOT of democrat
involvement.Until there is motre objectivity we can not have an
