I love my Hawks! It is about time the refs give us a bad call in our favor!
The NFL is becoming blinded by their own arrogance. EVERYONE saw that Green Bay
indisputably caught that pass. Shame on the NFL.
@ TXBYUfan,Yeah just like SBXL were worthlesburger was down on the one
yard line and the ref called it a TD. Every one could see it was not so but no
one else complained. An every one told Seattle fans to shut up. I say good for
the bad call!
They have to. If they didn't uphold the incorrect call they would
invalidate their decision to use incompetent officials. Making the wrong call is
one thing, but seeing the bad call on replay and doing nothing is unacceptable.
Everyone hates the officials. No matter how you call the game, 50% of the fans
are convinced you're wrong. (And sometimes you really are wrong but you
just go on, trying to do your best.)Just try and have a game without
officials and see how far the "honor system" gets you in athletic
contests. I'd love to see those complaining the loudest put on the shirt,
shoes and whistle for a quarter. Now that would be downright hilarious!!!
The replacement officials are nice human beings, but they are in the wrong job.
No, I don't want to put on the shirt and whistle for a quarter, but if I
did the criticism that comes my way for being a pretender would be valid. If an
unqualified mechanic/lawyer/surgeon makes an obvious mistake they can't use
the excuse that they are a replacement and shouldn't be held to the usual
Did the refs cause Rodgers to get sacked 8 times?Had they scored more
points this would not be an issue.
re: WACPaddingOurSchedule"Did the refs cause Rodgers to get
sacked 8 times?"No, but that's not their job. It's
GB's O-lines job. The REFS job is to protect the players and make the
right calls. Forget the debate over simultaneous control or whatever, there is
an obvious offensive PI that actually affected 2 GB players that was missed.
They blew it, Seattle wins and while I'm not a 'Hawk fan, I love Pete
Carroll's comment, "Game over, we win." End of Story.
