Your back-handed endorsement of Romney, so he can be the dog wagged by the tail
known as Bibi. Beyond this, the editorial is useless rhetoric.
HA!! What can Obama say that will impress anyone? The man is a joke and no one
takes him serious outside the US .... or inside the US for that matter.
Appeasement and apology might sound good to all the liberal nut's in the
world but to the bad guys who terrorize us - they are words to laugh out loud
about and I'm certain Iran and China and others get a lot of belly laughs
at this embarrassing little president from the US who spends most of his time on
David Letterman and The View.
Just watched the KSL News report on what Obama said. Once again, no leadership
shown to the world. Too bad more folks can't see that a great orator
isn't necessarily a good President, or even a less-than-desired President,
but rather is a weak President who apologizes for our country and Israel at
every opportunity. The world could use some good leadership from the USA and
they've not seen it from the current administration. Hopefully that ends
after the next November election.
Obama and his Secretary of State are excellent communicators of America's
principles and interests. They have moved effectively to withdraw our troops
from Middle East conflicts. He has effectively attacked terrorism. He has
effectively protected American interests throughout the world. The
Middle East has smoldered and regularly boiled over throughout my lifetime
(1949-present). It may have seemed like "the right thing to do" in 1949
to support the establishment of Israel at the expense of the Palistinian
poplulace; but, there were many unintended consequences. These include the
continual conflict between Israel and the Palistinians, the hate of Israel by
Shiite Muslim countries and the distrust of israel by Suuni Muslims.America cannot reverse the establishment of the Israeli State nor ever solve
these conflicts We must act judiciously, carefully and with restraint when
dealing with these countries. We have friends, like Saudi Arabia and Egypt. But we have tough enemies, like Iran and Syria. It will take serious,
continual statesmanship, like the Obama Administration has shown, to keep the
Middle East from boiling over again.
re:middle classDoes this "excellent communication" include
lies? Obama lied about the attack in Libya. He kept insisting the attack was due
to the video ... when he KNEW that to be a lie. The Libya prime minister today
confirmed that the attack was a planned terrorist attack and had NOTHING to do
with the video. The attack was planned in advance but Obama must lie to cover
his sorry tracks as a leader and not understanding the danger on 9/11....leaving
4 Americans dead.
@PatriotMy friend, the Middle East is a web of conflicts and undertows
that will ensnare any outside nation that gets involved over there. When it
comes to decribing or analyzing what happens, it doesn't serve any
constructive purpose to call any American leader a liar, because that just
isn't true. Whatever happens is often unpredictable and initial
information may be imprecise.Because Middle East events often are
worst-case, it is better to acknowledge the complexity of that region and
support whatever reactions are necessary to neutralize aggression toward us and
protect Americans. When it comes to the Middle East, patriotism requires the
best in us.
re:middle classApparently you haven't been watching the news
for the past few days?? Did you miss the news that INDEED Obama DID know that
this was a terror attack yet he sent his people out to the press to say it was
nothing more than a spontaneous act based on a video. This was a bald faced
LIE!! The prime minister of Libya confirmed that two days ago. Obama is
attempting to preserve his phony foreign policy of appeasement and certainly
doesn't want to let on that this entire effort has been a failure. The
middle east is on FIRE....in case you hadn't noticed. Oops - I forgot.
MSNBC doesn't do actual news.
