This personal interest story only is long enough to grab headlines, but is so short and devoid of any details that it really does a disservice to Rulon Gardner. What happened? Is there something the reader can sympathize with or shake our heads is dismay? Where's the humanity in this article besides dramatized headlines?

I think that is all that needs said. To know the true Rulon would be be very disappointing. Life choices
doesn't exactly show a man of integrity. I only hope that through this experience he will learn and grow and
I wish him the best for his future.

How about adding "Rulon Gardner's latest "self-inflicted" set-back." Also, a little clarification to his Biggest Loser participation, how about losing weight on the show until he .... quit. First time ever, at that time, that a contestant and quit. Great example across the board.

People achieve fame and fortune, then people lose fame and fortune. It's hard to feel bad for them.
