Israel is preparing to attack Iran and Obama is too busy to speak with Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the situation? Nov. 6th just can't get
here soon enough.
Natanyahu's goal is pretty obvious: make Israel the tail wagging the US dog
by dividing Americans and fear mongering in the Dick Cheney tradition. I
can't wait for Bibi to suggest a little "regime change" for Iran.
Re: Mark B Eureka, CA"Natanyahu's goal is pretty obvious: make
Israel the tail wagging the US dog ....."It is obvious that you
do not understand the Israeli mentality. They don't bluff, and they will
not tolerate Iran holding a nuclear threat over their heads. It isn't a
question of if but when they will attack Iran. Personally I think an early
attack might benefit Obama's re-election. I suspect that Netanyahu will
postpone the inevitable to see if Romney wins the election. You must
have forgotten the Six Day War in June of 1967. Do you remember who won, ....
and who lost?
@rifleman they don't bluff? how long have they been threatening to go
it alone rifleman? Mark is right we should not allow Natanyahu to decide when we
send our young men and women into harms way. btw I don't know if you
actually bothered reading or simply did not comprehend what you where reading
but the article very clearly states Obama talked to Natanyahu this week.
tolstoy, yeah, BO picked up the phone, but he would not condescend to
meet with him personally.I see you forget that they took out
Saddam's nuclear facilities - that was a bluff? When they see Iran getting
close enough, they will not wait for BO.
@lost in DC Did Neanyhu ask for a face to face meeting? what would be the
point of flying all the way to Israel to meet with Netanyahu at this moment? how
long have they been thumbing their chest over Iran? you are really stretching to
try to justify riflemans claims.
lost in DC do not forget the 2007 destruction of Syria's secret nuclear
facilities by Israel's forces.
Re: Tolstoy salt lake, UT"what would be the point of flying all the
way to Israel to meet with Netanyahu at this moment?"Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn't ask Obama to fly to Israel for a
meeting. He asked to meet our president in Washington D.C. When preparing to
attack Iran, and where we have interests in the region wouldn't it be
reasonable to try and prevent a war?And no, they haven't been
thumbing their nose at Iran. They've been sending repeated warnings that
only a fool would ignore.
