I agree "we reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others,

"A burnt car is seen after an attack on the U.S. Consulate by protesters
angry over a film that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad in Benghazi,
Libya, Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012." I am very saddened by this
attack, and feel bad for the families of those involved. I certainly hope the
government can get itself organized soon, and the perpetrators of this attack
can be found and brought to justice.May I suggest to the editors
that you look more carefully at how things are worded. The sentence above says
that the film ridiculed Muhammad in Benghazi, rather than the attack on the
Consulate occurred in Benghazi, because of a film that ridiculed Muhammad.
sending the Marines in now is equal to closing the barn door after the livestock
has left! Mr. President Where were the Marines when this happened?
My understanding is that the Ambassador to Egypt insisted that guns were not to
be loaded in Cairo. It seems to me that at least these people should have the
means to defend themselves. All those working in embassies should carry a
concealed handgun and there should be other weapons available at each location.
All these folks should have a course in how to use the weapons before being
posted and should have a monthly practice session.
