‘Romney: White House gave 'mixed signals' in responding to
attacks’=========== And Mitt knows what he's
talking about, He wrotes the book on giving "mixed signals".
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said Americans "will stand united
in our response." Yeah, all of us except for Mitt. I think
it's pretty telling that Paul Ryan re-started his Congressional election
campaign today; even his running mate sees this as the last nail in the coffin.
the only one that send mixed signals is the contraceptive organizer. he does
Romney could have written Obama's response and he would have come out
wow three of four posters already blaming Romney for Obama's mixed
signalsThe administration did apologize for others offending Muslims
But then it condemns Romney before cleaning up their own messObama has no ethical floor at all.
The only thing worse than Bush's foreign policy record would be a Pres.
Romney's foreign policy record. (he has the same advisors). Romney even
has a knack for insulting our allies.
I find Mr. Romney's instantaneous reaction to this developing story, a
kneejerk response to blame President Obama, quite disgusting and revealing.
This is an event that should bring all Americans together, to express our
outrage at the actions of this mob, our support for our brave diplomatic corps,
and our resolve to continue to be a force for good in the region. That is
exactly what Clinton and Obama have done. Romney's only goal is to make
cheap political hay from a foreign crisis. I have no words that can adequately
describe my disgust at his crass opportunism in politicizing this tragedy. The
bodies aren't even cold yet!
Obama:""I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic
facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including
Ambassador Chris Stevens.""Right now, the American people
have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified
America's commitment to freedom, justice and partnership with nations and
people around the globe and stand in stark contrast to those who callously took
their lives.""While the United States rejects efforts to
denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the
kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants."
Truthseeker,Thanks for posting the actual words of the
"response".I guess these are the words in question""the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs
of others"How dare he. Now I understand why they are upset. On a side note - Sara Palin on facebook posted ""apparently
President Obama can't see Egypt or Libya from his house."
Romney even has a knack for insulting our allies. Not unlike Obama who
sends the Dali Lama out the service entrance, refuses to meet with
Israel's prime minister in an ever increasing tense era, leaves the pm
sitting while he goes down to eat dinner, gives the Queen of England an Ipod
with his greatest speeches(?) and sends the bust of Churchhill packing.
Terminates our agreements with Poland on missile defense. Meets with the muslim
brotherhood from Egypt after they say they will not honor any treaties with
Israel and that Israel should be destroyed. Sends 13 billion in aid in the
nature of weapons and military hardware to the control of the muslim
brotherhood. All Mitt did was question the readiness of one event with the
mayor not the whole country. Yeah Obama knows how to insult allies oh so well.
You know why the statement from the Cairo embassy didn't condemn the
violence? Because it was made BEFORE the attack. Romney is going after Obama for
a "response" that was before the attack even occurred suggesting it was
the U.S. Embassy in Egypt issued a statement that “condemns the continuing
efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims
— as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions"Then the attacks happenedRomney said ”I’m outraged by
the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death
of an American consulate worker in Benghazi. It’s disgraceful that the
Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our
diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks. 11:35 PM Tuesday Obama condemns RomneyMorning Wednesday
Obama condemns the attackers
Obama mid-east policy: Snub President of Israel because O prefers to book time
on Letterman insteadYea; that is a mixed-signal and Obama is not the
romney campaign scrambles to take political advantage of the deaths of
Americans...Perfect.ryancare issues statement clarifying
romney's sophomoric response.Marvelous.
Well we see our great leader/President leading from 'behind' again.
Those who man the embassies for our nation, speak for it. The comments coming
from the Embassy in Egypt spoke for American Policy. These same words have come
from our own President on a number of occasion. Why were our embassies left
so 'unmanned" on 9/11, especially in the Muslin world that, if you
remember, celebrated when the towers came down? Thank you Romney for
speaking out for those of us who still love our country and are willing to
Re: LDS Liberal Farmington, UTThere is an amazing lack of leadership
in the Executive Branch of our government. Nature abhors a vacuum and Obama is
the epitome of lack of leadership. He needs to either lead, follow, or get out
of the way.
Critical of Romeny are those who should be joining him in calling out the
President for his weak leadership and apologies for America. Within our country
we support free speech; I do not remember anyone concerned about the movies made
that are negative towards Mormons or Christians, but only if the movies offend
Muslims do they cry out for tolerance. These critics are part of the weak
policies and signal given by America. Romney said it right, his critics are
Demagogues, including the Pres., seeking only for politcal gain. Why are so
many Americans blind to their machinations?
