The Utes will be a punching bag for rivalries. Struggle with Washington State,
loss to Colorado, and now this.Where's Chris B?
A win every 15 years a rivalry is not. Bring on BYU.
Look for Chris Hill to take USU off the Chicken Hawk's schedule now as
well. They need a more "balanced" non-conference schedule that includes
Northern Colorado, Savannah State and East High.
From ESPN quoting Jon White "It's devastating, because we lost to a
team that's not even in the Pac-12"I think your heads got a
bit too big there uties. So happy you lost! I am happy U are sad.
I love it. Beat byu once in 12 games/beat utah once in 12 games . .
. . . . "it's competitive!!" . . . "
it's a rivalry!!"
Thats for an incredible tune-up game for Wisconsin.
If the Utes could keep one in-state rivalry, this should be the one. The Aggies
bring competitive play and great fans.
@Chase....Here in Cache Valley we don't pay much attention to
titles or Brad Rock's cute little articles. We don't care if
it's a rivalry game, whether people think we're competitive or not.
We just go out and win football games, that's what we do. We
like our corn on the cob with lots of butter, we wear overalls and straw hats in
the summer, and we love our Aggie Football team. We leave all the
meaningless accolades and hype for the media congolmorates.
Great win Aggies. Beat the Badgers this next week and you may well be this
years Boise State.
ChaseRegardless of past history, today it's bragging rights for
the Aggies, and your Utes are licking their wounds.Cougars are
licking their chops.
It is sad that Utah has reached a level of superiority that makes these games
seem so irrelevant to them. As a result, we won't see the Utes play the
Aggies again for a log time. But maybe the pain of this loss will stick with
them as will a couple of good beat downs by BYU in 2012 and 2013. This should
create vivid memories of the old days when they played against teams that are no
longer worthy of their attention.
Yes! It would be great for Utah not playing in-state rivals. They've
moved on to the pac-12, and are with the big boysHow's the BCS
worf ponders "How's the BCS working out?"Quite well,
thank you. While unfortunate, a single loss does not end the Utes season, as
does a single loss for the Cougars. This was a non-conference game, so the Utes
have quite a bit more to play for. How's that Big 12 invitation
working out? I see the Big 12 managed to sign an enormous new television
contract without the "national draw" of BYU.
What the article was trying to say is: Utah State is no longer a cupcake.I agree, and I think so will BYU fans.Utah had the #109
offense last year. After the USU game it seems with Hays that's where we
are headed this year. I'm excited to see what Utah's
response is on Saturday.
SoonerUte, What's your point? How did the Big 12 become part
of the ute-cougar rivalry?
Good game Aggies! I'm very disappointed in the Utah coaches in
failing to figure out the QB situation. We had all off season to figure it out
and now we're back to where we were last year. I hope Jon Hays is ready to
go and Travice Wilson is eager to step in when called upon.Anyways,
no excuses from me! Utah State out played us and they were the better team last
Friday. Good luck the rest of the season Aggies!
