Romney is putting all his campaign eggs in the "job creation" basket.Lest we forget, Romney's record of job-creation as Governor of
Massachusetts: 47th among the 50 states in job creation! And that was
during a period that was NOT the worst recession in a generation. Why
doesn't Romney tell us what he WOULD have done if he were President during
the same time Obama has been President?Oh, that's right, he has
already said he would have done essentially the same things! And then he shook
his etch-a-sketch and tried to tell us differently.Who knows what
creative twist on the truth Romney will come up with next?
Dear DN,It is the "Democratic" Party, not the "Dem" Party.
Please be more respectful.

Just a thought and make sure this gets through to Mitt. I don't think the
Republicans should refuse the idea of raising taxes on the rich. However, they
should insist on removing the regulatory burden that is making our economy
non-competitive. However, one needs to go with the other. If our companies are
more profitable, their owners will be more profitable and the additional taxes
will be offset by the increased profits.
@worfAccording to the Washington Post, George W. Bush’s major
policies increased the debt by more than $5 trillion during his presidency.
Obama has increased the debt by less than $1 trillion as a result of his
policies. Economist Daniel J. Mitchell of the libertarian CATO Institute (who
served as a Republican staffer on the Senate Fiance Committee) has put the
figure at $140 billion. If we are going to play the disrespect game,
we should think of an equally disrespectful term for the Republican Party for
their shenanigans through the years, including:1950 - Republicans strongly
supported Sen. Joe McCarthy's infamous anti-communist witch hunts.1972 - Nixon operatives were caught breaking into Democratic Party national
headquarters during an election year. GWB: Bullying the intelligence
community into giving him the justification to start a war in Iraq over
non-existent WMDs. Ramming through a massive new, unfunded Medicare drug benefit
when the system was already broke. The total failure to deal with Katrina.
