In otherwords BYUtv already is everything the pac 12 network claimed it was
going to be and has failed miserably at being. Actually it is far more than te
pac 12 network ever even invisioned being. Pretty remarkable and very
@ DuckhunterIt's business Ducky! Remember the
Pac-12 Networks just launched and it's available in 48 million homes. The
Big Ten network when it lauched was available in 30 million homes and look where
it's at now. A deal will get done in time, i'm not worried it.
@bleed crimsonNo the pac12 network is not in 48 million homes, not
even close. That is a fallacy utah "fans" like yourself keep propagating
but it is indeed false. The pac12 network is carried on systems that
are in 48 million homes but they are not all showing the pac12 network to all
those homes. In fact it is far less than 48 million. FAR less.LOL!
BleedingYes, it's very much business and the law of supply and
demand has relegated the PAC 12 Network as a non-starter. Why else are cable and
satellite providers snubbing the network? Not that much demand for
it. A few thousands of fans nationwide outside of the 6 state area
are not worth catering to for the money involved says Comcast, Cox, DirectTV,
Dishnet and others.DirectTV is correct in saying that the conference
gets plenty of exposure through Fox and ESPN. It's just that of the 12
teams in the PAC some are more worthy than others for prime time exposure. It would appear that BYU's exclusive ESPN deal has suddenly become
a really big thing, especially in the context of ONE school getting it done.
Independence has never looked better at this moment and certainly looks to
improve.I wonder how much of the estimated millions of millions have
vanished because of this broken promise?
