The question isn't whether or not Boeing complied with US tax laws. They
did. The question is how many people did Boeing provide employment for, and how
many of those people paid federal taxes. The liberals look at Boeing just as
the farmer looked at the goose that laid golden eggs. They are greedy and want
to kill the goose that is feeding them.
@Rifleman The question should be, how many politicans did Boeing influence
through Super PACS or traditional lobbying effors to encourage politicans to
change tax codes to favor corporate interest? I don't think this should be
a "liberal" vs "conservative" argument, but a taxpayer vs
corporate interestes discussion and what is fair.
Re: mcdugall Layton, UT" .... to encourage politicans to change tax
codes to favor corporate interest?"I rather doubt all the union
employees Boeing hires complain about corporate interest. They all pay taxes on
the paychecks Boeing gives them. The question is whether Boeing pays the taxes
required by law, and the answer is yes.I don't like the tax
laws either. They reward people who are too lazy to go out and get a job.
Oh how horrible! A dollar not given to the government is a dollar wasted!
