I was wondering when Republicans would be annoyed with his Kerry-esque strategy
of "well I'm not that other guy". He talks a big game but shows
nothing to back it up, like his deficit reduction strategy that's short on
Steve Peoples is obviously not a Romney supporter. Just read all of his articles
as he is critical of Romney in every single one. Why does the DN continue to use
his material...are you supposed to be a fair and balanced news source?
Romney is wise to wait until at least after the National Republican convention
to give very many details. The mainstream media is controlled by this
administration. Releasing any DETAILS of his policy platform only gives them
longer to harangue. The last 3-4 wks. before the election are when
voters will finalize their decisions. You'll know his positions
by then. The mainstream media doesn't want his policy positions
so WE can see them. They want them so THEY can criticize them.
For all those who claim the DN is all pro-Romney all the time just take a look
at this constant stream of leftist AP articles. Kasie Hunt and Steve Peoples
put out a new anti-Romney article nearly every day. It was that way during the
primaries and is still that way. There are plenty of pro-Romney and anti-Romney
articles being pushed so please take note. On this particular
article, Billy Kristol is a huge anti-gay anti-Mormon icon and I don't
think something he says qualifies as an unbiased Republican voice out there. And Rupert Murdoch the owner of the WSJ (WSJ editorial critic) and then
Rupert Murdoch again quoted as a separate critic is a creative way to make one
person sound like a lot of people.
Watch for the Romney campaign to kick in high gear starting in August with a
"shock and awe" ad and message campaign. They have to spend all that
money anyway. They say that they are biding time and I think that strategy just
might work, with the help of more dismal job numbers like June's. If my
instincts are correct, Romney will be in the White House - as the next POTUS -
come January 2013.
Mitt got specific and lost to Kennedy.Mitt got specific and lost to
McCain.Mitt will not get specific again.
How is Romney the most secretive, when he's disclosed quite a substantial
amount due to Newt's whining. Unless anyone can prove anything criminal
that Romney does, then its a non-issue. Notice how no one accuses Romney of
anything criminal, and only says things like "Secret Off shore accounts,
that the public knows about"... instead of "He is breaking xyz
I, too, would like Romney to be more aggressive, but we haven't even had
the GOP Convention, yet. Let him start the real campaign after that. Besides,
his election team helped him win the governorship of Massachusetts. They
probably know what they are doing.Good comments and points by
Fitness Freak, deep in thought, Kouger, and There You Go Again on his campaign.
