It's a huge stretch to compare Obama vs. Romney, to Reagan vs. Carter.
Many of us feel that Obama has done a pretty good job given the hand he was
dealt, and to mention the charm challenged Romney in the same breath as the
charismatic Reagan is laughable. The real question about this campaign is what
strategy will the zillionaire conservative super PAC's use against Obama in
the last hours of the race. The Koch Brothers have allocated $400,000,000. to
defeat Obama and the Democrats, and it will be mind boggling to see what
"Swift-boat" commercials they come up with.
Comparing etch-a-sketch to Reagan and comparing Obama to Carter? Bobby showing once again how out to lunch he truly is. A big
reason why so many folks aren't getting involved in politics is because
they know that no matter which party they vote for, special interest groups and
big business will have that elected officials' ear. Repeal
Citizens United. Corporations ARE NOT people. I think that alone will restore
some credibility and confidence in our political system.
-These numbers say Romney is going to win-No they do not. They say
Romney isn't really too far behind TODAY. The numbers will change
approximately 150 times between now and election day.
It took a whole column to say that the race will be close and we can't tell
who will win.
If Barack Hussein Obama wins a second term in the White House, you can say
good-bye to America as we knew it.The national debt will climb to
$25 trillion (about $75,000 for every man, woman, and child in America)Obamacare will throw the country into bankruptcyWe will continue
to be inundated by millions of undocumented immigrants who will suck up welfare
by the hundreds of millionsTo name a few reasons.
President Reagan compared to mitt romney.Okay, let's start with
differences.Well, 200 words is not nearly enough words to define the
differences.Okay, let's go with commonalities...They're both Republicans.They're both...?Yeah, they're both Republicans.That's it.Wow, they do have something in common.
@ liberal larry"Many of us feel that Obama has done a pretty

For starters, let's take the candidate out of the equation. Let's not
think about Mr. Obama or about Mr. Romney. Let's think, instead, about the
qualifications of the office. We need a candidate who will:- Honor and protect the Constitution- Execute the laws passed by
Congress- Limit himself the to the duties assigned him by the
people.- Be strictly honest in all of his dealings.- Be
educated in how to effectively execute his duties.By taking the
candidate out of the equation and by requiring any candidate to be fully
qualified, it is evident that Mr. Obama is not qualified to be President. He
fails on every point. He does not respect the Constitution. He does not
execute the duties assigned to him. He has not limited himself to the duties
assigned to him by the people. He doesn't know the meaning of the word
"honesty". His education or experience is non-existent that would
enabled him to execute the duties of his office. With Mr. Obama
eliminated, that leaves only one other person, Mr. Romney.Mr. Romney
is qualified on all points.Take emotion out of the equation and use
just a little logic.
This article didn't offer anything new. A sophomoric attempt.
I think Mr. Bennett hit the nail on the head.
Re: liberal larry salt lake City, utah"it will be mind boggling to see
what "Swift-boat" commercials they come up with."The
Republicans will start with commercials touting Gov. Walker's victory in
Wisconsin. The voters have had it with public union gluttony, and Obama's
economic failures, and Tuesday's election results will be the proof.
Mr.Richards comments are the real point of why Obama should be replaced. I find
it interesting that the Democratic party, and their liberal causes to help
everyone through government programs have deserted the principles of one of one
of their own. "ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU! ASK WHAT YOU CAN
DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY"OBAMA has institued a mentality that the
Executive branch of government knows all and does not need to be responsive to
the legislative branch, or that this judicialbranchshould support it's
position. End running the congress in opoinments to government agencies, NOT
enforcing exisiting laws (DOMA) because the President does want to shows that
the current administration islackingin respect for the constitution and the
fundamental principles that this nations was founded on.We need
leaders who respect the constitution and WILL listen to, and provide for the
long term benefits of the American people. Romney has the knowledge and
experience to do this. If we elect a conservative contingent from Utah then we
can havea vce in our future.
Considering the idea of inheriting a bad economy and in the second year getting
back to private sector jobs being created... Bush is Carter and Obama is Reagan
except at least Democrats in Congress with Reagan weren't stubbornly
opposing everything designed to try and help the economy (jobs bills) or prevent
a repetition of the problem (regulatory bills).
@Neanderthal"The national debt will climb to $25 trillion (about
$75,000 for every man, woman, and child in America)"If we
literally do nothing and maintain current course, the deficit would be lower
than it is projected to be under Mitt Romney's budget. @Rifleman"The Republicans will start with commercials touting Gov.
Walker's victory in Wisconsin."Make sure that actually
happens first. Yeah I know polls have Walker ahead and Nate Silver estimates
that his model would give Walker over 90% odds of winnning but turnout is high,
and voter enthusiasm favors challengers which in this case is the Democrat.
