    We need shooters and Golden State has them. Hope KOC can work a little magic and expand the deal to send one or two this way. Curry or Rush would be nice.

    The premise of this deal involves no players. Only cash considerations and a relaxation of what Golden State would give up in either 2013 or 2014. I say you're going to get those provisions anyway. Nix this deal and take your chances with the lottery drawing on Wednesday.

    @dleger

    i think based from the article...it mentioned that they were willing to part ways with one or two trade assets...it could mean anything from a player, to cash considerations...or a year's supply of Cheetos...i just hope we seal the deal on the 2013 pick...and get a few assets...and i hope KOC trades Al Jefferson and Devin Harris....

    Actually that is what GS prefers but that does not mean that is what they will get.

    Hopefully KOC exploits their paranoia and takes them to the cleaners.

    GS is notorious for dumb decisions so hopefully this will just be another to add to the list.

    GS isn't going to be taken to the cleaners on this deal. They are just hedging their bets against a possible 8-10 pick if they get bumped down. That's not worth going to the mat. Frankly I would be satisfied to ask them to take Raja off our hands and let them deal with that problem.

    how about...Raja Bell this year's draft pick for Brandon Rush and unconditional first round pick next year....

    Kakashi: You must think the GS general manager is way dumber than most people who comment on DesNews message boards. Why on earth would GS make that deal?
