Effort?Intensity?17 points at the end of the 1st quarter
so I would say they have showed up with neither.Spurs hit wide open
jumpers and our players miss 4-5 wide open jumpers. They still act
like they are star struck and tight.
Well, if you thought 17 points in the first quarter...the stellar starting
lineup comes up with a grand total of 11 in the second quarter. The
broom is gaining momentum. Our PG play is nothing short of a joke.
They create absolutely nothing and we end up with forced shots as the shot clock
winds down.Devin Harris needs to be gone. Who knew Tony Parker was
a defensive stopper? He is when our PG's are playing. Neither of them
have penetrated or put any pressure on Parker to defend. Our bench
cut it to 5 and then they reinsert Parker...and then our starters and we score 2
points the remainder of the quarter.
What the Jazz need is better coaching effort.
