Sure and begorrah, Gordon Hayward is that "cockeyes optimist" from
"My Fair Lady". Indeedie, he will help change the world, but it
won't be this year. The Spurs left their top three players at home
(Duncan, Parker, Ginobili) and still all but beat the Jazz in Utah. Actually,
that was the game that got the Jazz into the playoffs. The Jazz are a team on
the rise but right now they have too many shortcomings. Nevertheless, kudos to
Gordon Hayward for his bravado and imitation from the "Bad News Bears".
SPURS >>> JazzSpurs win out 4-1
I think the Jazz will win at least two games in the Spurs series. Hayward and
Favors should now be considered NBA veterans: they are very young, but they are
good, getting better all the time, and they are ready to take a giant step.
Problem is, as well as Harris has been playing lately, who is going to stop
Ginobili's drives to the basket. Oh yeah, and the Spurs can rain
Let's go Spurrsboyz.
Would love to see Gordon shock the world, but what I expect to see is Parker and
Ginobli carving up the Jazz like a Thanksgiving turkey. Will lose the first two
by double digits in San Antonio; will rally and hold the losses in Games 3 and 4
to single digits. But it doesn't matter -- the Jazz season has
already been a total success. Making the playoffs was beyond all expectations.
Anything else is frosting on the cake.Let's go, Jazz! I love
