Procrastination making late stretch so tenuous for Jazz

    Perhaps there's a reason you have to play the games, instead of just penciling it in as a victory, as many of the radio hosts seem to do.

    These are teams staffed with NBA players, all capable of winning a game, even the Bobcats.

    The home losses to bad teams are the ones that especially hurt. I wouldn't consider road losses to bad teams to be in the same category--any road game has the potential to be tough for a young, developing team like the Jazz.

    Certainly, on paper the game against the Magic should have been a fairly easy win, but the Magic played well, are well coached, and a higher percentage of contested threes than they usually do, which make a lot of that irrelevant. I think the Jazz players are playing hard every night and trying to figure out ways to overcome their inexperience.
