Dave Axelrod, Obama’s advisor says Obama wants a more “fair”
tax system where the wealthy pay their fair share! The wealthiest Americans
already pay nearly 80% of all federal income taxes paid while nearly 50% of
Americans pay no federal income taxes at all. What’s the
“fair” share for the wealthy? Knowledgeable economists warn us
that taking more money out of the private sector will make little if any
difference in our deficit and will harm the economy even further!Could the
real problem be that the government is SPENDING too much money and not that the
“rich” aren’t paying enough?How can
“leaders” who don’t even understand the problem be trusted to
fix the problem
Obama's secretary pays a higher percentage of taxes. That's not right!
Obama should to pay thirty percent as his fair share, and quit expecting us to
pay for his untaxed vacations, and campaign tours.
If M-man understands economics so well, he should suggest just which government
programs need to be deep-sixed in order to make the USA a true tax evader's
paradise. Hey, I'll even start ball rolling. Let's bring home troops
from Afghanistan, saving lives AND huge amounts of money in the process. Your
@ Mark B. A few points:#1: We are in Afghanistan to defeat Al Qaida. You
know those guys who flew those airplanes into our building on 9/11 and murdered
3,000 innocent people? When the Afghan people can protect themselves and have a
free government, we will leave and add that country to a long list of countries
(Libya, Iraq, most of Europe, Japan, and many others) that America has liberated
from dictators and left them free to govern themselves. #2: Each state is
better equipped to administer their own education, agriculture, EPA, fish and
wildlife, energy, etc, than the over regulating, often duplicating, very inept
and VERY expensive meddling by the federal government.#3: The IRS has
bankrupted far more Americans than medical bills have.#4: The federal
government has a $16 trillion and growing by a billion a day national debt
crisis. Clearly we will be forced to change the way the federal government
does things or it will certainly default.
A sixteen trillion dollar debt is proof of a dishonest, greedy, power happy, and
corrupt government.Somebody prove this statement wrong!
