Santorum just sunk his own ship not only for this election, but for any to
follow. What a egotistical self serving politician, which is even worse than a
regular self-serving politician.
Wow, Santorum just shot himself in the foot. For him to say that we may as well
have Obama in there for another term rather than Romney - this makes him look
like the wrong man for the job. Santorum is creating a fictitious Romney to help
himself to get elected. He is the one saying anything to be elected.
Is he crazy? He just finished off him self off.
Ever notice that when things aren’t going well for people, their true
character comes out whatever the circumstances?
All Santorum does is whine and cry, whine and cry! It is old now! Supported
candidates have money coming in!
This should squelch any notion of Santorum being a VP!
Santorum came this into unprepared and it now showing. A remark even stating,
"Might as well have O-bama over Rommey" is a person that I won't
for now or at anytime. His statement on Unemployment and Economy just keep
showing he isn't the right person to be President. Longer he runs the more
divided and more money it's taking away from a campaign against O-bama.
.....Perry, Cain, Santorum, Gingritch..... all have been trying to get as far as
they could against an unpopular president and either gain the nomination, or
help weaken President Obama's main opponents.....a win-win combination for
any politician. What amazed me was that a majority of my fellow caucus goers up
here in Washington state bit on it hook, line and sinker. It was only Mitt
Romney's energy and love for this country that another John McCain-like
candidacy was averted.
Seems a little arrogant to me that Mr. Santorum would elevate himself over his
political party through such a sophomoric comment. Makes me wonder if any
politician who espouses this philosophy of "it's all about me"
would adopt a similar attitude towards the constitution as well once in office.
At least there's never a dull moment in national politics during an
Mr. Santorum's comments will play well with the evangelicals in the south
who are anti-Mormon. FOX News and Sean Hannity will also be defending him
today. This is not a game changer, just another aspect of the Republican
parties circular firing squad.
I think if we could see Santorum's doodles on his etch-a-sketch it would
say: "I am Toast". But he may not be bright enough to realize it, or to
write it. He seems to be turning all the wrong knobs.
