Jefferson: "It took me eight years to realize if I pass the ball outside and
guys hit shots it open me up".Big Al is the poster child for
Slow Learner. Will it take him another eight to realize the positive
effects of moving his feet on defense?
@Iowa Jazz Fan 2Slow down man, you don't teach your toddler calculus
while they're learning to walk.
Iowa Jazz Fan 2 said it all.
Wow the Jazz could go 47 and 19 on the Season.
"Successful road recipe" = play against bad teams. Increases the
probability of success exponentially.
@Iowa Jazz Fan 2That's Big Al alright, but at least we're seeing
some progress. Who said you cannot teach an old dog new tricks? I guess you can
but it's a slow process. Enjoyed your comment.
I have been saying all along that all that was needed to win was to take Cj
Miles out of the lineup. Now that he is out of the lineup, the jazz can win.
Only put him in sparingly, he plays no defense.
Brahmabull. Good comment, it's not just C J's lack of defense, it's his lack of
consistency and heart. He can play well when he can just gun, or play one on
one. Give him a structured play or offense to run and he jogs through the
screens, and plays soft. If you want to really get mad at him, watch him away
from the ball. He will not set a hard screen for anyone. He just hangs out
waiting to shoot. Other players suffer from his lack of hustle. His lack of
solid screening for his teammates might be rubbing off on his own game, because
it looks like other players are now doing the same for him.
@northstar, You said it before I could, just refuse to play the good teams on
the road.@Iowa Jazz Fan, It also wouldn't hurt if he would learn to
