just a moderate knowledge of normal human affect who observed the behavior and
demeanor of Josh Powell since SusanÂs disappearance and especially in the
last year or so would need only a short time to see that Josh was a person
barely able to maintain a thin and perverse facade of normalcy that covered a
very dark and twisted personality.One of the more tragic aspects of
this sorry tale is that it is also apparent that he and at least several of his
siblings suffered from the effects of being reared by a similarly dark and
twisted father. Who knows how far back this pathology goes?Obviously, the most tragic aspect is that the youngest and most innocent of
the victims seemed to be on their way to escaping the web of dysfunctionality
that so completely ensnared the person who murdered them and, almost certainly,
their dear mother.
Give it up, Deseret News. It is time to move on. Discerning minds really don't
want to read any more about the dysfunctional Powell clan and their perversions.
By the way, I did not take the time to read the article. The title was
sufficient to prompt my disinterest and disgust.
