QR Codes can 'expand the experience' of genealogists

    I have asked my family not to let anyone put a QRC on my headstone. I'm not too keen on my final resting place becomming simply another advertisement.

    I would not want a QR code on my gravestone. A gravestone is meant to last a long, long, time. There is no telling if QR codes will be in vogue in one year, much less 100. Even if the concept remains, it would seem that formatting, etc would change in time. The chances of someone 50 years from now using smartphone technology that is compatible with what we use now seem quite slim to me.
