So what does this mean? Are we in need of more federal funding to keep
government workers employed? So how much more in taxes or the new tax
called fees are the people of Utah going to pay now?Utah is so slow
and in denial that it is blinded and muddled by the truth of what the new role
of government is going to be, and its not as leaders. The growth of
UDOT, education, TRAX, and illegal aliens occupation becasue of federal funding
should have this state scared stiff. What is Utah going to do without federal
funds and no industry that is not federally funded? The prospect of
Utah becoming a ghost town state does not register with our leaders. A visionary
can plan and prepare for hard times and loss of funds, but Utah can only breed
Just think what it would be without the illegal workforce taking construction
For a state that is basically conservative, our people, especially the young
families got caught up in the housing market buying huge homes at huge costs.
We had a large number of bankruptcies in this fall and even before the fall.
These families are still paying for that. More people have moved in from other
states due to our strong economy and they not necessarily brought the same value
system. Hopefully, our construction will not involve taking young families out
of their progress to financial freedom. Bankruptcies don't help our economy and
lifestyle. That is something that happens in California. We have a nature in
Utah to keep values that have existed for many years. We are influenced by the
media, marketing and influences that say we need more and more. Just go to some
of the stores, even in this recession and see people spending for more and more.
We have helped overseas markets by buying more and more that is not from our
own market. Construction, banks, loan companies, title companies, etc. need to
move ahead with caution and not like a rocket launching off the pad in Florida
to the moon for a colony.
