A newer picture of Marie would have been better... this one was at her son's
funeral... bad choice Deseret News! Love all the news about missionaries around
the world, I have a grandson serving in the LA Mission.
Thank you @anneray for suggesting the change in the photo, and thank you DN for
'"While we're still in discussion with Marie, we're extremely excited about
the prospect of Marie Osmond joining the Hallmark family.' - article
**'Marie Osmond Supports Gay Marriage' - Mormon Matters - 05/05/09 I
would buy a Hallmark card.... if Marie Osmand was selling them.
Horrible way it was written Jumping from one subject to the other with out a
segue to help the reader understand the flow.
Hallmark never announced a new daily show by Marie Osmond "could possibly
replace the 'Martha Stewart Show.'" This reporting has come from leaks by
Hallmark and Michelle Vicary, evp programming, to exploit free media publicity
for Hallmark. The leaks from Hallmark and Vicary while "in
dicussions" reflect deplorable, bad faith conduct that completely
repudiates the Hallmark brand and Hallmark cards. The Martha Stewart Show is
quality programming on living the American way of life and a healthy lifestyle;
that excellent programming is obviously needed on a Martha Stewart channel on
cable tv. The Hallmark channel does not have the viewing audience
to sustain the new show. Hallmark is "extremely excited about the
prospect" of a show that Hallmark will cancel in no time in its wild goose
ratings chase. Hallmark is the Titanic; Martha Stewart is Hallmark's last best
hope for transformation to a channel with long-term viability.
A great story about a wonderful person
I quit attending the "food events" in the church a few years ago. I'm
not sure that members should really want much publicity about the food you can
find when members get together in a meetinghouse, especially if it is compared
side by side to the word of wisdom. You mostly find worthless carbs, high fat
and high sugar foods.
