I wonder why they chose the name "women of Faith". Women of Faith is
the name of an evangelical women's group which publishes a series of Bible study
books. The Bible study books are wonderful. I do wonder if there are any
copyright issues here.
Not sure how this should be a problem when the full name of the book is
"Women of Faith in the Latter Days."
"Women of Faith" is a licensed trademark. Trademark infringement
exists when the same name is commonly, which it is in this case as evidenced by
The Deseret News calling the series "Women of Faith" in the headline.
Because both are series' religious in nature there is enough similarities that
this would be trademark infringement.
Women of Faith, Inc. is a registered trademark, but not sure about the use of
phrase Women of Faith in anything and everything else. There's only
some much that can be fit into a headline, so shortening the name of the series
to "Women of Faith" should be o.k.Both series might be
worth checking into. Thanks.Merry Christmas!
