Chow will be a Ute next year. Sitake is the one that Hawaii wants - lets hope
that doesn't play out!Go Utes!!
For a coach (like Chow) who has already made his fortune, and has nothing left
to prove, this would be a dream job.
Chow has wanted to be a HC for the past twenty years. If it's offered, I'm sure
College Football has an unforgiving bottom line.Winning is the cure
for almost any program problems.Hawaii is a spread team.Chow is not a spread coach.Would Hawaii take a chance on changing
the offensive culture? If they thought it would lead to wins...why
not?Attendance has lagged in recent years. The one thing
that will bring fans back is lots of W's.An HC job is always
tempting.Chow has some amazing recruits coming in to UTAH.If he stays at UTAH or if he gets the call from the islands, he has a nice
deal either way.
Oh, please stop now. I'm simply laughing too much. Tell me the last time Coach
Chow was relevant in the college game? 2004 when he left USC? What has he done
since then? And at 65 years of age, he'd be the "future" of Hawaii
football? Sounds like a Weber State hiring! Coach Chow, if you get this job,
bless you, my friend.
@ So. Cal Reader " Tell me the last time Coach Chow was relevant in
the college game "? 54-10 ring a bell ?
Despite what some of you think (and hope), Norm Chow still knows how to coach
football.I hope he stays with the Utes. I think they could be very
good in the next year or two.
