Read the USA Today story:"... Utah hosts 2-5 Oregon State. Is
this the week a Pac-12 newcomer finally wins a league game? Utah and Colorado
are both 0-4."Utah has become the New Mexico pf the PAC 10/2.
Ute-Chute - That's pretty funny. Even funnier: BYU has become the newest
unofficial member of the WAC. Isn't that the conference they left to join the
MWC? Funny how BYU's program has come full circle. But hey, at least BYU fans
can now watch endless rebroadcasts of their easy idaho state victories. Enjoy!
"BYU has become the newest unofficial member of the WAC."This statement is hilarious when you consider that BYU has beaten more Pac-12
teams so far this season than Utah has. Throw in an SEC team as well. BYU beat
Oregon State decisively in Corvallis but Ute fans won't acknowledge this as a
quality win because the Beavers have a losing record. Fine. Utah should be able
to beat the Beavers easily at RES on Saturday then, right?
If Utah doesn't beat OSU there is no way they will go bowling.I
predict when Utah plays Oregon they will both be looking for their first Pac-12
win.BTW, BYU has beaten more PAC-12 teams AND more BCS teams this
season than Utah.
Er, I meant when Utah plays Colorado...
"BYU beat Oregon State decisively in Corvallis" 10 points
is a decisive win? I guess it is for a BYU fan. In the world the rest of us
live in, 44 points is a decisive win.
The national story this year was to see how a non-AQ team (Utah) did after
joining the big boys. This doesn't bode well for TCU and the five others tapped
for promotion.Utah's struggle in the Pac 12 frustrates Cougar fans
because they realize "we're worse than they are". Thus the conflict
of wanting to be picked by the Big 12, but also fearing being picked.
Hey cougar fans, here is a question for you: where does it mention BYU in these
articles? why the obsession? you lost 54-10 to a bottom of the barrel pac-12
team. why don't you worry about new mexico state? Utah is going to be just
Hey Kosta. Glad you believe in miracles. 0-4 in conference play isn't exactly
going in that direction.
@BigRichUnlike most people, I look at the big picture. I look at
Utah's roster next year, and it is going to be sick. I am not ever going to
guarantee a rose bowl, but I think Utah is going to be very good next year.
Yeah, we had some bad breaks this year that we weren't prepared for. Just a
bump in the road. Utah is a solid program with a solid foundation and a very
bright future ahead.
@KostaLooking at next year is a bit more realistic. Even though I'm
a Y fan, I hope you're right. I hate the propensity of some fans to rip each
other's school down. I don't understand why anyone one in Utah wouldn't want
other teams from Utah to have great seasons and great games, even when they play
each other. I would like our state to be recognized as a solid football state.
I would always like the U to be at their best when we play them, then should we
win, it was a quality win, a major accomplishment. Same goes for the other
schools. It's great to have a rivalry to a point, but for some to be so
vitriolic only hurts everyone.
@kosta fesenko aka "officer coolguy", "duckhunter hunter",
"hondo", "articuno BYU", etc."Hey cougar
fans, here is a question for you: where does it mention BYU in these articles?
why the obsession? you lost 54-10 to a bottom of the barrel pac-12 team. why
don't you worry about new mexico state? Utah is going to be just fine"We can pretty much ask you the same thing as you troll up the BYU
