I wouldn't be surprised that some people think they can wait to check out
whether they have it for two reasons:1. Fear of actually being found
with cancer. Some people might just hope it "goes away" if they have
it. Or, if you don't get checked, you won't be found to have it, and therefore
don't have it. Fear of cancer can be debiliting to one's resolve.2.
Advancements in medicine are now curing a lot of breast cancer women. So, why
bother if when I eventually do get checked, they'll cure it? Put it off if it's
not going to kill you, anyway. Well, that might not work if it's too
advanced. And, I'll bet the second reason is the much newer one.I've had several relatives get breast cancer. Some died from it, some
didn't.Get checked! Especially if there's any family history.Putting it off only lessens the chance of survival.
oops, debilitating (sometimes my fingers rebel against my brain)
My mom and sister were breast cancer patients. Lucky that they were diagnozed in
time. I was operated on prostate cancer a year ago... Total surprise as I was
symptom free. Now my PSA is undetectable.I just wish, we men, would talk
more about our "breast cancer". Too little is spoken about it.In
Finland (5,2 mil in my country) we diagnoze 5000 new prostate cancers annually,
of which 800 will die of the disease.Get tested! Make sure it includes
palpation. DO NOT WAITE!
