How many jobs has Rob "bring home the bacon" Bishop created in Utah
since the last election? Better yet, has anyone totaled up the amount of money
his "earmarks" has helped our state in creating jobs? Time for a
change next election?
Without the Antiquities Act, there'd be gold mines in the Grand Canyon, Mesa
Verde would have been completely looted, and Utah would be just as rich as
Kentucky and West Virginia with the coal mines, complete with the slag dumps,
the tailings dam failures, and rampant pollution. No thanks.
Rob Bishop is almost always right on issues. He is definitely right on this
one.Keep fighting, Rob!
Dixie Dan and DN censorwhat do the topics you mentioned have to do with
the abuse of the antiquities act?CHS 85,there is a legislative
process that can address your concerns. Why do we elect a president, but allow
him to be an unreversable dictator when it comes to national monument
Another article that is essentially written by the press person of Bishop. Not
one word of the other side of the issue or the benefits that we have received.
This isn't journalism, it's a glorified Congressional newsletter.
How do you expect Presidents to garner millions from enviro-groups if they are
not allowed to willy-nilly declare Monuments they have never seen in States they
don't care about?
"Irreversible dictator?" really Here I thought we elected our
presidents silly me.
