I just have to laugh when I see this type of article. It reminds me of all the
anti-glbt marriage folks screaming that we're shoving our "lifestyle"
down their throats.Yeah, right.
Agreed with RanchHand. I can't believe the Deseret News forced me to access
their webpage, enter the "Faith" section of the website and read this
entire article about male/female relationships. To add to the indignity of it
all, they forced me to comment, thus making me think about it even more.
Deseret News, please show some respect and remove all mentions of heterosexual
relationships from the site. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
The DN is *supposed* to be a newspaper, Richard. It's ironic that
you failed to see the humor of my previous comment anyway.
RanchHand: you may have not noticed but the "News World" has been
changing. Rarely will you see someone just giving the news. Rarely will you see
an article talking about the news. Each article is going to have
opinions. Newspapers are going to have more columns and articles like this one.
That is why Networks like MNSBC, Fox News, CBS, ABC...and on and on have
more commentators than actual broadcasters. People don't care about how news was
given in the old days. People want spice. They want to hear peoples
opinions and when they disagree they want to give their own opinions. The
Newspaper world is dramatically changing. Articles like these are why
"Newspapers" are around anymore. If newspapers were just giving news
how you are implying they are suppose to do, they would go out of business.
You have to right a book about this stuff? What is wrong in all of mormondom if
mom and dad can't tackle this issue? $14.99; no I think I'll just have a
conversation(s) with my kids... This must just be an advertisement for deseret
book or a mormon author....
So Ranchand did you have to read the article? Did you have to make a comment?
Were you forced to do anything? The answer to all of these of course is no.
Where the definition of marriage has been left up to the people to vote on it
has been unanimous in favor of man and woman. When done through the courts or
legislature it is entirely different. You may disagree with the
writers. You may disagree with me but no law made by man can ever change the
laws of heaven. In the end your lifestyle will be destroyed.
I don't think I'm going to trust BYU graduates with dating advice, just
