I don't know that Jimmer could do any worse than the politicians in Sacramento now.... We are, after all, still paying the "temporary" sales tax increase imposed to "pay off the damages of the 1989 San Francisco earthquake."

We will always follow Jimmer. Got to love his style of play, his composure, and his tremendous skill.

Sacramento is now our team to watch in the NBA if and when they ever play.

Good point, Fresnogirl. Jimmer is imminently more qualified than California's last two governors--Gray Davis, who sold California to Unions, leaving us with back-breaking high salaries and ridiculous lifetime pensions for government workers, and Arnold Schwarzenneger, whose only accomplishment was successfully hiding the child he fathered out of wedlock until the end of this term.

Here are the five NBA Mormons who paved the way for The Jimmer. Not so sure abou Thurl.

Wow, why can't Jimmer be deemed the "savior?" Good heavens, BYU gets one good player in decades and if you listen to the rabid Cougar fans, you would think that he invented electricity. When is the madness gonna stop?

I think Jimmer might actually be the White Horse of prophecy fame. Jimmer/Romney 2012!

Mgr63, the madness will never stop. His name is Jimmer for heaven's sake! It's just too much fun.

Any basketball fan at the game vs SDSU knows who invented electricity! Any fan at the MWC tourney game BYU vs UNM knows who invented electricity! Any fan at the NCAA game BYU vs Gonzaga knows who invented electricity. Any fan at the Huntsman center BYU vs UofU knows who invented electricity. Need I go any further! 'Nuff said!

Love me some Davison Cheney. The rest of the articles in the Timpanogos Times are charmingly ill-crafted and are executed in an amateurishly quaint and homey way. You, on the other hand, are funny, relatable AND good. Loved the article. Again.

I understand Jimmer and the entire NBA may need new careers if this lockout doesn't end. POTUS sure does have a lot of perks. The most sophisticated airliner ever constructed at his beck and call. Gets to have ride around in a bullet and gas proof limosine. Chaufers, porters, cooks, maids and aids all the time. As for his age, well taking the example of the current POTUS we don't have to prove that until after he's been elected. However I don't think even with all the perks and so forth he could afford the pay cut.
