the grades were generally too high across the board. while we clearly controlled
the game we still only won 2-0 over an inferior side. kyle's passing was off all
night. especially his crosses. our passing and D was sloppy. though we were
unlucky to hit wood a few times, our finishing was horrible. i can't
fathom why kreis opted not to give some real strikers like aghasyan and toa
badly needed minutes instead of bringing in ned and robbie in as 2nd half subs.
he seemed to have wasted a golden opportunity there...
I wouldn't mind seeing Will up top in another game.
Fun game to go to. The guys put on a nice show and besides some near and easy
misses on goal, it went down as expected.
A real game is when there are two teams in the pitch. Wilmington showed
inadequate preparation and skills to make a competition even with a weak RSL
team. The reason for a subpar performance rests in a poor show by
Wilmington. They reminded me the game with Arabe Unido from Panama during the
Concacaf classifiyng games.I do not understand what Kreis wants to do with
Nelson Gonzalez, it looks to me that he continues punishing Nelson. I wish
Nelson goes to play for another team and then we will realize how good of a
player he is. Why Colleen Werner is playing this much and Gonzalez only 15
I thought the game last night was a lot of fun to watch. Some of the runs Gil
made showed some serious skill. Although the finishing was lacking. It was
still a good game for RSL.
Any word on Paulo's recovery? I too would like to see Gonzales more, all I can
immagine is that his lack of playing time is due to effort or fitness problems.
Kreis demands a certain level and if he isn't getting it you don't play.
