Canceled Glenn Beck event fuels distrust
Good story. Investigative journalism is good. Too bad this guy has taken
advantage of people, I hope they get thier money back.
Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. In our society there are many
trying to pass themselves off as something they are not. I see it in politics
all the time. Liberals passing themselves off as conservatives, and
conservatives passing themselves off as liberal. The whole point is to try and
discredit some one or something. I also see it here on the D-News
comment board. I see people with the word mormon or lds in their screen name and
they are certainly are not.If someone is putting a deceptive label
on themselves you can be sure they are up to no good.
If the show was cancelled on the 16th of March, why don't people have their
money back? Baltes claims that he WILL give it back, but its been a month now.
Why didnt the money go into an escrow account? Isn't that the law?
How can he claim to have gotten in over his head if he was selling tickets to
events that hadn't even been confirmed? There is an article about
this guy in the Sonora Chronicle which says that one of these "successful
events" was a folding card table, and a paper banner. It was attended by 50
or so people and he charged the local tea party groups $3k for it. He also used
the event to sell these VIP Glenn Beck tickets. If you go to that
lady's site, Conning Conservatives, it lists multiple similar events that never
came off. You can give this guy the benefit of the doubt, but something smells
really rotten to me.
14 minutes 58 seconds, 14 minutes 59 seconds, DING your 15 minutes of fame is
Poplar Grove apartment? Conservative Republican? Ha, how's that "trickle
down economics" working for you? How goes the battle with the working
class and Unions? I bet you're all for the tax extensions for the rich too,
What do you know?! Typical politician.
How ironic that fugitive felon con artist Alexandrea Merrell was conned by
fellow con artist Dan Baltes! Google "Alexandrea Merrell" and
