Ridiculous! When are the natural consequences going to be enough for
those who supposedly represent us. What good would it do to send this man to
prison or jail? He is better able to make restitution by being able to be a
wage earner than to be incarcerated so the rest of us can pay for his
incarceration. He most likely has lost any certification to practice
his trade, is most likely being sued for damages beyond his ability to repay and
has the rest of his life to contemplate that an unintended mistake cost these
little girls their lives, not to mention the multiple heartaches of the parents
and those who know all involved.
So heart breaking. I agree with woodysworld's comment.
This is ridiculous. How is sending this guy to prison going to benefit anybody?
Prison isn't going to rehab him of anything, though it might teach him to be
worse. How does this benefit the poor family or the girls?
My heart goes out to all parties involved. The exterminator who applied the
pesticide as well as the girls family have been through there own hell to say
the least. What good does it do to send him to prison? I don't know what the
sentence should be. It was a horrible mistake and it sounds like there wasn't
enough training given. May God bless the girls family. Such a sad story.
He absolutely deserves some jail time. Two precious girls are dead because of
his failure to take a few minutes and make sure he was doing his job correctly.
While this wasn't intentional, it was absolutely negligence. It sends a very
clear message to society that when you're dealing with deadly chemicals, there
is no room for error and if you fail to read the instructions, you will be held
accountable and serve jail time.
