PETA sues University of Utah for animal research records

    The former president of PETA uses/used insulin. That research was performed in dogs, but she uses insulin anyway. Perhaps PETA should also be interested in the ethical treatment of people.

    Hmm, on the one hand, you have researchers dedicated to alleviating human suffering. On the other hand, PETA has contributed nothing of substance to human welfare. It's perfectly clear to me that PETA will not be satisfied with better access to records, but that they're only trying to get that information so that they can go on to hassle researchers and funders irregardless of whether the animals are treated humanely or not.

    Sooner or later we must have meaningful Tort reform that permits this types of abuse of legitimate legal means.

    PETA is on a witch hunt and only interested in harassing those that have dissimilar views.
