wow, isn't that the kind of doctor you would like to have working on you?
Especially doing your surgery...Let alone having to pay him for services
and here I just thought utah doctors got their license to practice medicine out
of cracker jack boxes, I never would have thought they would be that crooked.
We only see what he got caught at. Impressive, seemingly professional, deceitful
- falsifying transcripts. Reminiscent of some of the symptoms of the primary
psychopath - but only a professional can make this diagnosis. See Cleckley, "The
Mask of Sanity".
Cracker Jack boxes? Next time you need professional medical care for you or your
family tell your doctor that.
I think he'd do more good practicing medicine than being in prison.
our family determined to keep our handicapped son at home with us!
10 years, he never went to med school and earned a real degree, so why would it
be 10 years? He should never be able to get a med license again.
Why can he not be ordered to provide free medical care for the next ten years to
those on medicaid/medicare
Let he who has no sin--cast the first stone.
The whole situation is unbelieveable. He should not be treating anyone. Can
you imagine what could and probably did happen to those poor people at the
developmental Center? Medically fragile individuals who can not verbally
explain what is wrong? He would have shown his cards sooner if he had clients
who could question his decissions for their care. And file questionable
practices with the State licensing board. What was the Administrator at the
Developmental Center thinking? She really missed the boat on this one. What
else has she missed?
I agree 100% with "what the" @ 8:11 am. I was unfortunate enough to be a patient
of "Dr." MacNeils. He had me life flighted out for what he thought was a
fracture in my skull. Turns out it was the line where the skull plates grow
together. His lack of expertise cost my parents and their insurance thousands of
dollars for nothing. To F Brown @ 5:07 pm. No one is casting stones at him, just
stating some facts that he should never practice medicine again. Unless of
course he goes back gets his G.E.D. Thats right he never even graduated high
school. Then continues onto college and does his pre-med then to grad school and
residency. He should have to earn a lisence before he gets it back.
Anyone questioning the seriousness of this man's guilt - should not. The
travesty of this whole matter is the havoc and gross malpractice spread in the
name of medicine and to well meaning patients/victims. Psychopath is right on
the money. The people at the developmental center were, indeed, helpless -
but the administration was not. Yet the charade continued and 'medical'
decisions were made that were significantly outside any hippocratic intent or
allegiance. Alas ethics and Dr MacNeill did not cross paths. Sad news to
others that did.
