    Star power is what our current politics are governed by. How's that working for us? The stars need to just keep singing or acting or just looking pretty on magazine covers. They have no business thinking or forcing their views and philosophies of life on to the public.

    what we need to address these types of issues are experts in their fields, scientists, engineers, researchers, or whatever. The "huddled masses" are uninformed, too often not well educated, and are too easily convinced by even a well meaning "star" of the accuracy of their message.

    Look at Al Gore, a politician with a degree in Divinity. An education in Divinity is fine, but that hardly qualifies Gore as an expert in the field of climatology.

    What was that P.T. Barnum quote about a sucker being born every minute?
