I wouldn't want to see a statue of him in our country, either!
Let's make a trade. Send us the statue and we send you the real Obama.
What is your problem? The statue was erected as a means of showing kids that
live there that they could dream big in their lives with hope and achieve
something big just like Obama did and achieved. Obama has already done a lot of
things in the first year than any president in the past 50 years had done in
their first year. I see the statue in the picture admire it. It gives the kids
hope and shows even one person can think big and accomplish much if they just
dream it. What's the problem with dreaming that way? Don't we all have dreams,
too? Would you like someone putting you down for every good dream you have?
I'm sure the disaster relief chairty was using it's funds correctly by donating
so much bitterness so few forums. I really feel bad for our conservative friends
on these threads it must be hard to live with such anger all the time.
So I take it you WOULDN'T be offended at all if there was a statue of George W.
Bush meant to inspire children to dream big?
LOL, Utah's young skulls full of mush, raised on kool-aid, soda pop and energy
drink's, video games, cell phones and rap music, and AM talk radio, just had
their brain cell defrost, woke up to smell the coffee, and heard about a statue
of President Barack Obama as a boy (opps, one can't say boy, that's race word
and not PC to do), was erected in The Windy City of Oprah-ville, in a Jakarta
park, and has been targeted in a Facebook campaign by thousands who say it
should be removed, in a feeding frenzy, when if it's made out of copper or
brass, it needs to go to the scrap yard, sold for scrap medal, and use that
money to feed the homeless and needy, but all they wanna do is "talk about it",
not do it, and "GIR-R-DONE!", and still walk past the statue of U.S. President
Barack Obama as 10-year-old boy at Menteng Park in Jakarta, Indonesia, to have
something to say on FaceBook?.I believe God had said, "DON'T
WORSHIP FALSE IDOL'S" right?.Conservatives need to remove it then.
"non-policial, Friends of Obama"? Now that's an oxymoron. How can "Friends of
Obama" not be political? I doubt he has any friends who are not political
friends. And if he keeps it up, he won't have any friends who are political
A warning to all posters:If you say anything negative about Obama,
you will most assuredly be rebuked by his supporters and called a racist (like
the comment @ 9:10 am). Be very careful. The liberals have that built in
response for the rest of his time as president. If anyone isn't 100% supportive
of everything he does, that person is definitely a racist in their eyes. Just
reference any of the following liberal comments below...

"Barry", what is this? He lied when he was 10? This is really sad, I bet then he
claimed he was Indonesian, and not Half Black, Half White! I can't stand him! I
voted for him for the change he promised, but WOW, anything he has proposed
hasn't given me a job, gotten me a new car, won't help companies want to hire me
because they don't know what's going on with health care, or the new taxes they
will have to pay. Taco Bell is getting old, I have lost my measly house through
foreclosure, I had a car repossessed am now on food stamps and medicaid, and my
kids get picked on because they get free lunches now at school. Go ahead and say
it was Bush's fault. The fact is, when he was president I had a job, a home, a
nice car, health insurance, bought my own food with cash! kids had money
lunches, and my wife didn't have to buy ALL of her clothes at the D.I.! Obama is
an embarrassment to me as an African as well as White America and the
