    Leaving the LEAST OF THESE with no help, and no medications to safe their lives.

    Anonymous at 1:41 a.m. is a good example of the national health insurance position. Don't we all deserve the best medical attention we can get? Shouldn't that be affordable for everyone? So shouldn't we all be willing to run the country into an economic abyss for these worthy goals?

    In Canada we manage to do it, and we aren't running out of money providing good health care to everybody. Canadians who are HIV positive are living with a chronic disease, working and paying taxes even if they only have a job as a waitress, and would need assistance paying for meds and care in the US.
