They say it is happening in Utah where it should be...it should have happened
years ago and it hasn't. The State lawmakers have dropped the ball AGAIN - if
they had proved that worked years ago it could have set a chain reaction other
states. They didn't. They failed. AGAIN. And so now the Federal government
is coming to clean up their mess. Again.
The good people of Utah have hit the nail on the head. This isn't about
Healthcare, it's about power and control, and about "tansforming" America. They
would have gladly passed this bill before the break if they could have, without
even reading it or comprehending it and its implications for all Americans.
Why? Because its not about Healthcare; its about a vehicle to gain power and
control and to advance an agenda that is as un-American as you can imagine.
That's why the details do not matter to them, they want the power and control,
and the details are incidental to Obama. Who believes that Obama wouldn't sign
anything that comes across his desk, as long as a bill gets passed? Has anyone
seen him review the bill to make sure the plan is right for Americans?-No, but
why not? Why hasn't he? The answer is because it'snot about Healthcare to
Obama, it's power and control that he wants.
I saw an interview with BO where he compared the troubles he is having getrting
Obamacare passed to the troubles FDR had getting social security passed and JFK
and LBJ had getting medicare passed. Yes, let's compare SS and medicare to
Obamacare - the former two are bankrupt (or will be soon) and Obamacare will
Seems to me you might be able to find some folks in SLC who support health care
reform if you looked beyond the comments made at Republican-sponsored
anti-health care meetings. Just a thought.
uncannygunman, Those of whom you speak would be in the minority. what about the anti-health care comments at the dem sponsored meetings, aka
town hall meetings held by Specter and other dems? These are true grass-roots
reactions to bad policy, not like the bussed in union member pro-BO health-care
rallies the dems are trying to stage now
I think the D News buried the lede on this one. The forum was hosted by the
Sutherland Institute. Think that might have had anything to do with the
sentiment from attendees?
